31-05-2021 : Com. O.P.Gupta Ji birth centenary lecture series organised by MH Circle:-
Third Webinar on " Labour Codes " was organised on 30th May 2021.
Renowned trade union leader & economist Com. Ajeet Abhyankar was main speaker. General secretary Com. C. Singh presided.
Organiser & circle secretary Com. Ranjan Dani underlined the historical role played by com. OPG in Telecom Trade union movement & recalled milestones of his immemorable work like leading of Nationwide strikes in 1960, 1968 for minimum wages & DAs, introduction of time bound promotion scheme, bonus, Regularisation of lakhs of casual labours, visionary restructuring of staff to cope up with changing technology along with historical agreement for protection of job, pension & BSNL after corporatization.
Com. Ajeet Abhyankar, starting with elaboration of present socio economic background in the country categorically told that economy is on the verge of collapse & unemployment is at its peak due to disastrous policies of Modi govt. Further, while explaining the nature of change in labour laws & it's adverse impact on workers, he told that the argument of govt to bring ease in doing business, to attract more finance capital for development thereby creation of more jobs is totally wrong & merely an eyewash. Actually workers will lose their job protection & permanent jobs will be replaced through fix term employment thereby making formation of unions more difficult. Contractorisarion of jobs will be a ground reality following hire & fire system easily available for corporate world. Govt regulation will gradually be replaced by own rules & regulations of factory owners. Exploitation of workers will reach to new inhuman level & justice merely remain on paper. This hidden agenda of govt behind changes in labour Laws is to dismantle labour movement, suppress human rights & help corporates to increase their profits, he exposed through his booklet on the subject. To retaliate these retrograde policies of central govt he appealed to explain real intention of change in labour laws to every worker & try to build broad based unity to defeat anti worker policies of the govt. Trade union movement also needs to work shoulder in shoulder with ongoing farmers movement in the country to bring victory over a mighty corporate regime working at the centre. He also appreciated the initiative taken by NFTE, M.H. circle to awaken workers in BSNL regarding the challenges.
G.S. Com. C. Singh while encouraging Maharashtra circle Comrades for organising lecture series, appealed to carry the message & outcome of the lectures to each & every worker through news papers, social media, meetings etc & be prepared for nation wide struggle for the revival of BSNL & protection of workers rights like Release of DA, PRC, New promotion policy, compassionate appointments, superannuation benefits, conducting exams for promotions & suitable medical facilities etc.
Senior Com. Sunanda Pardeshi gave vote of thanks.
Circle secretaries Com. Chilamwarji, Com. Chobeji, Com. Shantanu & many district Secretaries, circle office bearers, trade union activists were among prominent presence.

24-05-2021 : Maharashtra Circle NFTE organises a lecture series on Com. O.P.Gupta Ji birth centenary:-
The 2nd webinar of the series was organised on 23. May 2021.
AITUC General secretary Com. Amarjeet Kaur addressed nearly for three hours. Com. C. Sing, general secretary, NFTE presided.
Many leaders across the nation including Circle secretaries Com. Chilamwar Ji, Com. Chobeji, Com. Soniji attended.
Com. Bandi, president M.H. circle gave vote of thanks.
The entire history of working class in India & across the globe was made alive by
Com. Amarjeet in her most inspiring speech. She has elaborated the relationship between labour movement & Indian freedom movement in depth. The resolution of total independence was passed in AITUC conference in 1921 much before it was put forth by Indian freedom movement, she added. Democratic rights, freedom of expression, workers protection, right to organisation were enshrined in Indian Constitution as an achievement of protracted struggles of working class for the causes, she explained. She also underlined the importance of Marxist thoughts as a guiding principle of unity & struggle against the exploitative capitalist system. The impact of Russian Revolution on labour movement was also nicely explained. While addressing the present situation of workers under present regime at the centre, she has cleared that privatisation of PSUs, Pro corporate changes in labour laws, agricultural reforms are the steps towards dismantling of welfare nature of the state & country is being pushed towards anarchy. The tragic incidences of covid deaths in the absence of robust health system & proper planning are the shame on the rulers of this country. Challenges today are manifold & workers are to be pushed back to colonial days through new labour laws. To concentrate the wealth & public property in the hands of very few, the democratic rights are also being suppressed. Right to strike being made infructuous, Right to organise more difficult. To overcome the present crisis & to defeat anti labour, anti people policies of the govt there is no alternative to broad based unity irrespective of party politics. Egos, petty quarrels, sectarian views, selfish thinking, tendency to ridicule our colleagues are the real hurdles in unity & they are to be vigioursly sorted out. Self introspection, commitment towards unorganized & fearless struggles for the cause of downtrodden may only be the path to victory & we have to prepare ourselves for this noble cause, she appealed.
Her entire speech was really an eye opener as described by General Secretary Com. C. Singh ji also assured to walk on the path of com. O. P. Gupta to protect BSNL & it's workers at any cost.
All participants felt enriched & inspired by her thought-provoking address in today's webinar...!

17-05-2021 : World Telecommunication day:- Each year on 17th May world telecom day is absorbed throughout the world.
In our country we can remember the Telecom revolution was initiated by late Smt. Indira Gandhi the then Prime minister of India and it was brought at ground by late sri Rajeev Gandhi.
Today a foot path vegetable sellers are also using voice and data facility through technological development in Telecom area.
Though the Govt of India played a very unpleasant role with telecom employees by converting the Dept of Telecom into a public sector in 2000.
In 2020 half of the employees sent out through VRS and half are suffering and suffocating in want of payment of salary on time.
But the day absorbed throughout the world is very relevant for the people as the Telecom is playing a vital role in development of social and economical status of people.
On this occasion on behalf of our CHQ we extend a very warm greetings to all telecom workers, Telecom service users and urge upon the Government to provide 4G spectrum to BSNL to continue it's breathing .

29-04-2021 : Observe Historic May day...... : Dear comrades ,we observe may day on 1 st may each year since 1886 the day of great struggle of working people of the world. Due to the covid-19 pandemic this time we observe may day in different formats.
We should arrange our union flag hosting at union offices that too with maintaining social distance and using proper mask. The importance of may day is more relevant at present scenario, when lacs of workers have lossed their jobs.
The working class is much victim of present rulers of the country. In our BSNL even after reduction of 50% staff through so called VRS the existing staff are not getting their salary on time. The workers are left on the mercy of God as they are not getting safety solutions from management to save their lives while working in the field area.
Contiguously death reports are coming due to covid-19 but the management is maintaining silence. The department of post has announced out of turn CGA for the dependent of covid victims, but BSNL is not lifting the ban imposed on CGA. Most of our communications are in reverted.
In this situation we have to remember our tradition of fighting for the welfare of workers. Hence kindly observe 1st may as labour day and pay homage to the Myteirs and take pledge to fight against the anti workers policy of the Govt.
With may day greetings.

It is the day on which the great constitution of India was implemented with a pledge to rule the country within and as per the provisions provided in the constitution and the India was declared a democratic country on the same day of 1950.
No doubt our democracy is wonderful and unique one which has been followed by others country also and it is appreciated in the whole world.
It is special significant of our democracy that even after completing 74 years of Independence our country is united and intact .
It is a special beauty of our country that the people of several colours, casts, creeds and religion live together with full trust to each other but from last few years some section of the population with vested interest have started dilution of the constitutional rights of the people specially of farmers and workers.
A big population of nation is on struggle and several are compelled to live in fear.

31-12-2020 : On the eve of last day of 2020 when we reviewed back to say good bye to 2020 a very bitter taste is felt.
The whole 2020 was the curse for the common people in general and for working class and farmers in particular.
The whole human being were facing the attack of COVID -19 one side and the other side working class and farmers were facing the attack of the Govt. in centre. The present Govt having absolute majority in parliament which used as tool to pass anti labourer and anti farmers bill in house and even after continuous struggles by suffering class of people the power is playing a role of dumb and deaf. The Niti Ayog continued it's agenda of dismantling the central public sector Enterprises.
All the sectors whether it is service provider or productive unites under the Govt control are about to sale or sink..
We the BSNL workers have been cheated by the Govt.in name of revival of the company. More than 78000 thousands executives and non executives were sent out from compony through VRS in Jan2020, without any proper road map to run the services after reduction of a large human resources and the remaining serving employees are not getting even their salary on time ,what to say about other welfare measures
The IDA has been frozen for entire CPSE employees wef 01.10.2020 which is beyond norms rather it is a shameless attack of the Govt on working people. The order of freezing IDA has been quashed by honourable high courts.
Thus we experienced a very grim and critical situation in the 2020..
Now with a better hope and full confidence we have to move forward to welcome the new year 2021 which appear at zero hours of tonight.
We on behalf of our central head quarters welcome all of our members, well wishers, all the executives officers of the management and entire people of the country to come forward and take pledge to change the situation of the nation where everyone feel happy and get prosperity..
With a warmest greetings. WISHING YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021.

10-08-2020 : Twitter Campaign on 10.08.2020 from 11 Am to 01 PM:-
Demanding immediate launching of 4G services by BSNL and its Revival.
This is an appeal to all the employees of BSNL to massively participate and support AUAB Twitter Campaign for the immediate launching of 4G service by BSNL and also for BSNL Revival.
As per the Revival plan approved by the Union Cabinet, BSNL 4G services should have been launched by this time. But, unfortunately, due to various reasons best known to BSNL Management and the DoT, BSNL 4G launching is getting terribly delayed. The sufferers due to this delay, are the citizens of India especially the peoples in rural areas, where still the internet is not reached.
Furthermore, the delay is adversely affecting the Revenue generation of BSNL. As the employee of BSNL this is our bread and butter. Hence we appeal to you all to massively participate in the twitter campaign on 10.08.2020, between 11:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs and make it big success.
Kindly Tweet with hashtag #BSNL4GNow.
